On 23 September 2026, the Dublin European Law Institute at Dublin City University, will host a high-level event on The Savings and Investments Union and the EU Competitiveness Agenda, at The Helix, DCU in the framework of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence COMPETE Multiplier event series. The event is an official associated event of Ireland’s 2026 Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The event will feature a keynote address by Dr Enrico Letta, former Prime Minister of Italy and author of Much More than a Market, followed by a high-level policy roundtable bringing together leading voices from academia, industry and legal practice to discuss the Savings and Investments Union and its role in advancing EU competitiveness.
